We have opened two wonderful objects in Yakutsk — a children’s art school and a smart library. There are no analogues of such a library not only in Yakutia, but in the entire Far East. This will be a new type of library, which will act as a factor in restarting the republic’s library system, said Vladimir Solodov, Chairman of the Yakutian government, to TASS.
The Implementation of a full range of RFID equipment made it possible to significantly simplify the routine tasks of librarians, forget about queues and get rid of paperwork, protect the library fund from theft, and analyze the most successful events thanks to the people s counting system.
We can say with confidence that the library is no longer a place where people come just to pick up books. Today, it is the youth, keeping up with the times, aesthetically pleasing and technologically equipped culture house!
