As part of the reconstruction of the military medical academy named after S.M. Kirov, carried out on behalf of defense minister Sergei Shoigu, IDlogic carried out RFID automation of the Academy’s library.
The MMA library, with 1,900,000 copies of literature and subscribing to 360 periodicals, was equipped with RFID book tags and e-library cards. The system makes it possible to quickly give and take books and other archives by registering several materials at the same time. In addition, the automated system allows maintaining order in the collection, with less effort on the part of the library staff.
Sergei Shoigu, who attended the opening of the updated MMA library, was presented with an electronic library card number 1.
