IDlogic company took part in a seminar for heads of centralized library systems, inter-settlement libraries of the Krasnodar Territory «Libraries of the Kuban: transformation of library and information technologies and ensuring the quality of library services for the population.»
This year’s meeting focused on the theme «Kuban Library: reserves, opportunities, results» and was held in Krasnodar regional universal scientific library named after A.S. Pushkin from 6 to 9 September.
Irina Logacheva, a leading specialist in the implementation of innovative RFID equipment of the company, held an educational forum on the role of modern technologies in the library environment. Our speech «A new level of information services for the population» aroused great interest of the participants. Possibilities of IDlogic book distribution and book return stations, stages of implementation of modern RFID equipment in libraries, its further use and maintenance were actively discussed.
The video, presented by our specialist at the forum, clearly showed the features of the libraries before and after using equipment based on RFID technologies. Librarians were pleased to know that the use of such systems significantly accelerates the inventory of the book fund, facilitates distribution and book return, and provides reliable protection of books from theft.
The issues of providing convenient access to the book fund for people with disabilities were also raised, and Irina spoke in detail about our equipment, which allows librarians to serve all readers as comfortably as possible.
The atmosphere of the seminar was very friendly, we were happy to share our experience in the field of library automation and were able to provide maximum useful information to the forum participants, again proving that IDlogic is a reliable and modern company, with which more than 250 libraries throughout Russia cooperate.
